My wife and I met the Naifehs in Abu Dhabi in 1976 while I worked for the University of Arizona on Sadiyat Island (mentioned by Marion in the book). The Naifehs were a delightful couple. We also met Steve their son who had an art show at the Embassy (I think) while he was home from law school.
